Who's in the Room

People
your kind of people.

The fastest reason an executive comes back for a second Thursday is simple. they looked around the room and saw their peers. C-suite executives, directors, business owners, fractional leaders. Not vendors. Not people figuring out their next move. People carrying real responsibility and making real decisions.

01
The C-Suite Executive
Who needs peer insight on cost, risk, and decisions. not another vendor pitch disguised as a conversation. The weight of that seat doesn't go away when you leave the office.
02
The Director or President of an Established Company
Who's done with startup energy and wants a room full of operators who've been in the trenches. people who understand what it means to run something real.
03
The Business Owner with 50–500 Employees
Who makes every significant decision and rarely gets to think out loud with people who understand the weight of that. This room is full of them.
04
The PE Principal or M&A Advisor
Who would rather get to know a business owner over two hours of competitive play than a 30-minute pitch call. The best deal relationships don't start in conference rooms.
05
The Fractional Executive
Who serves multiple companies simultaneously, works without a traditional peer group, and needs a room full of operators who understand the weight of that role. Nobody here will ask you to explain what fractional means.

The Format

Structure is
the product.

Most networking fails because it's unstructured. Dink & Deals is engineered differently. Every meeting is intentional, and the format itself does the filtering.

The non-negotiable
No selling inside the session. Ever. The room earns its value precisely because that rule is universal and enforced. When nobody is working an angle, the conversations become real.
8:00 am 60 min
Executive Exchange Hour
Facilitated, round-robin format. Thought-provoking prompts, rotated weekly. everyone answers in 90 seconds or less. No advice, no follow-ups, no pitches. Rotating prompts like: "What cost category has your attention this quarter?" or "What decision do you wish you'd made six months earlier?"
Equal airtime No selling Rotating prompts Pre-assigned follow-ups
9:00 am 120 min
Competitive Pickleball
Two courts, two intensities. One wired for serious competition, one built for spirited social play. You choose your court. Attitude matters more than skill level. Two hours alongside someone teaches you more about their character than ten formal meetings.

Why It Works

Competition
accelerates trust.

The combination of structured conversation and competitive play isn't accidental. It's engineered to create the conditions where real peer relationships form. fast, and without pretense.
01
Structure kills the noise
The structured format gives everyone equal airtime and eliminates the social dynamics that reward charisma over substance. Operators love it. Performers find it uncomfortable. That's by design.
02
Competition reveals character
Two hours of competitive play teaches you more about someone's composure, judgment, and integrity than ten formal meetings. You know who they are before you ever do business with them.
03
Weekly rhythm builds real relationships
One-time events produce business cards. Weekly contact produces relationships. The people in this room are back next Thursday. That consistency is the asset no conference can replicate.
